Saturday evening Joyce and her husband, Judge James L. Kimbler, attended the Le Vent Du Nord concert at Highland High School sponsored by the Ohio Regional Music and Cultural Outreach, (ORMACO). ORMACO is dedicated to providing musical and cultural events to Medina and surrounding counties. It has entered into a partnership with the Highland School District to provide music and cultural opportunities to its students.
Le Vent Du Nord is a Quebec progressive folk group that sings in French so Joyce and her husband didn't understand the words, but, like the rest of the crowd, really got into the music. By the end of the concert there were people dancing in the auditorium to the music. The band members were very personable and talked to members of the audience after the concert was over.
