Joyce attended the Friday night Fish Fry held at the Spencer Town Hall on April 4, 2014. The Spencer Town Hall Fish Fry is sponsored by the Spencer Historical Society and the Hot Stove League. It is held every Friday night during Lent. The Spencer Historical Society maintains a museum on the second floor of the Town Hall. This museum has exhibits about Spencer Village and Spencer Township.
